Jason Brubaker

Jason Brubaker began his career as an artist in 1996 while represented by “Famous Frames,” a storyboarding agency in Los Angeles, where Brubaker drew hundreds of commercial storyboards for film and television.In 2002, Brubaker began working as a traditional animator for motion design studios in Los Angeles and New York, and was soon art directing animated commercials. In 2009, Brubaker began working as a Visual Development Artist at Dreamworks Animation on ‘Kung Fu Panda’ and ‘Kung Fu Panda 2.’

In extra time, Brubaker works on a self-published graphic novel called reMIND, which won the Xeric Award in 2010 and was also placed on the Great Graphic Novels for Teens list 2012 (GGNT). You can see Brubaker’s  progress on reMIND at www.reMINDblog.com.

Brubaker was born and raised in Idaho, and he is a self-taught illustrator.
